La Dantri began with Daniel and Gayathri and a shared dream of creating somewhere of their own. Starting young, they built their first business together from the ground up, designing and hand-building much of the restaurant themselves. Daniel first discovered Italian cooking while working part-time in a restaurant and has since developed his craft as a self-taught chef, creating dishes through curiosity, creativity and years of learning. The name La Dantri comes from their two names, and today it represents what they set out to create – a modern Italian restaurant in the heart of Honley, with great food, genuine warmth and a little piece of them in every detail.
